A partir do dia 29 de Abril do corrente ano a Braz & Associados, Lda conta com mais uma Agente Oficial da Propriedade Industrial (AOPI). Trata-se de Igma Nhaca, investida nas funções naquela data.

Em Moçambique a profissão de Agente Oficial da Propriedade Industrial é regulada pelo Decreto nº 19/99, de 4 de Maio, que aprova o respectivo regulamento.

As of April 29th of this year, Braz & Associados, Lda has another Official Industrial Property Agent (AOPI). This is Igma Nhaca, who took office on that date.

In Mozambique, the profession of Official Industrial Property Agent is regulated by Decree No. 19/99, of May 4th, which approves the respective regulations.

Once all objections and oppositions are cleared, your trademark is officially registered! You’ll receive a registration certificate, granting you the exclusive rights to use your trademark for the designated goods or services in Mozambique. This not only protects your brand but also gives you the ability to take legal action against anyone who infringes upon your rights.

Um, por ter me distinguido ao longo dos 20 anos de implantação do sistema da propriedade industrial em Moçambique, e outro como prémio por ser o Agente Oficial de Propriedade industrial com mais registos de direitos de propriedade industrial no país. Quanta honra! Quanta emoção!

 A Directora Geral do IPI, Sheila Canda, visitou ontem, 29 de Junho de 2023, a Braz & Associados, no âmbito da cooperação e suporte institucional que ela pretende manter com os Agentes Oficiais de Propriedade Industrial e seus escritórios. Ela esteve acompanhada por Honório Cumbi, Chefe do Departamento de Estudos e Planificação, Flávio Malenge, Chefe do Departamento Financeiro e Afonso Getimane, Auditor Interno do IPI. Pela Baipa estiveram presentes Sérgio Braz, Maria Augusta Amad e Igma Nhaca.

Durante a reunião foram abordados diversos assuntos relacionados com o funcionamento do sistema da propriedade industrial no país, para além de terem sido exploradas as melhores formas para o seu aperfeiçoamento.

Vale lembrar que a nova Directora Geral do iPI foi nomeada nos finais do passado mês de Maio.
